Our lists are clean and have been checked by our team, so you aren't wasting time checking broken links, or irrelevant or inactive investor profiles.
To connect with investors effectively, you should only reach out to relevant, active investors. That means that you must screen any list of investors and check every investor profile before reaching out to them. That takes time.
Most investor lists include a lot of inactive, irrelevant, or inaccurate investor profiles, which creates a huge time suck. With our lists, you start with a clean list of active investors, all checked manually by our team so that you can go through the list quickly and effectively. 

VCs, angel groups, and family offices: 
Our team reviewed each investor to make sure that they have:

• An active website (a lot of investors on other lists do not, which means they are no longer active).
• An active LinkedIn company page. 
• Invested in a startup in the last 18 months (according to public information). 

Angel investors:
Our team reviewed each investor to make sure that they:

•  Identify as investors in startups.
• Have a LinkedIn profile and use it actively. 
• Have a premium LinkedIn account (which means you can send them a DM on LinkedIn even if they are not your 2nd-level connections). 
• Do not display various "red-flags" indicating they are not real investors. 

There are numerous ways to get free investor lists on the web. The challenge isn't finding more investor profiles. You don't need more lists, you need a clean list so that you don't waste your time sifting through piles of irrelevant, outdated profiles, broken links, and missing data. 
Our lists are screened by our team so that you and your team can find the most relevant investors as fast as possible. 

The most effective way to connect with new investors is on LinkedIn. Plain and simple. 
Cold emailing investors is problematic in many ways. In some jurisdictions, it is prohibited or restricted. You are also risking your email account and domain being blacklisted as spam. 
Cold emailing effectively can be quite a complicated and arduous task.

On LinkedIn, on the other hand, you will get better results and spend less of your time. If you reach out to relevant investors who are active LinkedIn users, you will get the highest response rates and the best outcomes. Out lists help you do just that. 

Our lists of angels include the names, country, their personal LinkedIn profile URL, and the domains they are interested in (based on what we found on their LinkedIn profiles). 
Our lists of VCs, angel groups and family offices include their name, website, location, description/thesis, domains, stages, LinkedIn company page, and contact email.
We do not provide emails of individuals, as we strongly believe LinkedIn is the preferred channel to connect with investors (see our answer to the question above). 

To connect with the angels on our lists: 

1. Go to their LinkedIn profile (we provide the URLs) and read the “about” and “experience” sections.
2. For angels that are your 2nd level contact: Send a blank connection request, and if they accept it, send them a message. 
3. For angels who are your 3rd level contacts, send an inmail.

* Do not send too many messages and connection requests, since LinkedIn might restrict you. You probably shouldn’t exceed 10-15 connection requests and another 10-20 messages per business day. 

To connect with VCs, angel groups, and family offices from our lists:

1. Read the descriptions, and check for a match with your domain, stage, and location. 
2. Go to their LinkedIn company page (we provide the URL),  press on the “people” tab,  and identify the decision-makers. 
   In a VC fund, those are the general partners (GP). Analysts, associates, and venture partners can be helpful but only if you can get them to forward your pitch to the the general partners. Reach out to them one at a time (see next).

3. Check if you have any mutual contacts who can introduce you to one of the GPs.
4. If you can't find a way to connect via an intro or in person: focus on one of the partners. Ideally, you should find someone who is your second-level contact on LinkedIn and an active LinkedIn user. If possible, engage lightly with their content and then reach out with a connection request on LinkedIn. Once they accept it, send them a message. 
5. If you get no response after a day or two, reach out to the next general partner in that VC.
6. If none of the GPs in a VC are your 2nd-level contacts on LinkedIn, find one who has a Premium account badge on their profile, and send them an inmail.

7. If all else fails, use the contact email provided in our lists (or go to their website to find their contact form) and reach out.

Yes, you can export records without limitation from all of our investor lists. You can download the lists as a CSV or Excel file and save them for your records or add them to your CRM. 
The only thing you can't do with our lists is to share them with others. You may not sell or distribute our lists in any way.
